Flower Box

Three flower boxes all in a row.  I spotted this around the St. Joseph Hospital complex.  I'm not sure what the building is but, I like those three windows, their awnings and the great flower boxes.  Not something you see in Phoenix very often.

The theme for September for City Daily Photo bloggers is "Pink."  To participate, link your post on September 1 to the CDP theme day page.

Fantastic symmetry! Finely composed. Great colors. This is something you'd find in a museum!

You are right that flower boxes in Phoenix are uncommon. Heck. At our house we never open the windows.

The art of minimalism, nice!

I wonder how they get out to water them - maybe have a long arm on a hose?

Someone has a good eye for design.

I know in some areas this might be impossible......but wouldn't it be great if all hospital rooms offered views with flower boxes with flowers. Peace. Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

Interesting find.

You don't have flower boxes out there? I was going to say that is sad, but then I remembered that in my part of Florida, window boxes are pretty rare, too. Maybe because there are so many flowers in the ground, people just don't see the need to put them at window level.

Simple but so attractive!

I am interested in your last comment. I wonder why they are not a common site. Perhaps the plants dry out too fast in the hot, dry air?
