Crown

One of the Entrances to the Phoenix Convention Center.  I don't think I had ever noticed that crown over the entry before until it was all lit up at night.

Nice shot! I like the crown at the top that is made up of interlocking birds.

I flavor never noticed it either. There is a crown atop Phoenix City Hall, so why not at the Convention Center, too.

Now all we need are more and bigger conventions.

It's a nice touch.
I haven't taken a night shot in ages. Yours are so nice and sharp. Tripod?

This is quite stunning and very attractive. I see the posts to keep away home-grown terrorists, too! Love the crown. I'd say this is your crowning achievement but you have so many beautiful photos, that would be an exaggeration. :)

That's a rather spectacular entrance Sharon, and yes it looks way more so at night.

I enjoy seeing a city take the time to create an artful opening. Beautiful photo! Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

It is a great-looking entrance. I like the way the crown casts its shadow on the wall behind and ceiling above.
