Blue fish

I went back to the Butterfly Wonderland two weeks ago to see if I could get some additional photos.  I'm happy to say that the fish were much more cooperative this time.  I got a great photo of this gorgeous blue fish.

I also captured a butterfly that I didn't see on the last visit.  This brightly colored one isn't in the guide either so I can't tell you it's name.  Such pretty colors on both the fish and the butterfly.

Thanks everyone for stopping by the new site yesterday.  I think I'm going to enjoy rolling out my favorite travel photos.

Discus, from the Amazon Basin, are slow motion fish, therefore they are photographers' friends! :-) Both the fish and butterfly shots are wonderful, Sharon.

I had to smile when I read JM's comment above. He is so smart and knows so much about so many things.

I would have thought a discus was something you threw! :)

But the fish and the butterfly are both beautiful!

In water, on land among the flowers, fine shots!

I love your life exploring beauties like these in the desert. Beautiful butterflies are miracles that remind us to see our own Fragility. Have a wonderful day and stay cool...I think we are finished with continuous rains. I pray they come West to you. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

You brought memories for me. I tried and tried to keep and breed discus fish. They are a real challenge. I wasn't very successful.

The Discus fish are so fabulous Sharon, you captured a beautiful shot here. The colours on the butterfly must be perfect for camouflage oui!
