Hard to resist

I lured these colorful little love birds into my backyard by putting out seed and seed blocks and I've discovered that they are pretty smart little birds.  If the feeder is empty and I happen to be in the back yard, they swoop down onto the empty feeder and squeak at me to get my attention.  "Hey lady, time to get more bird seed!"

I think it's amazing that you have theses birds in your backyard. What can I say... I'm a northern boy.

They are so pretty, it would be worth a few trips to get bird seed just to have them around.

Beautiful birds and great to have them visit. The blackbirds here will sit on the fence while you fill the feeders.

Oh yes, when it comes to a regular food supply, our feathered friends are fast learners. I love that they're called 'love birds', gorgeous shot Sharon.
