Greek Orthodox

Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Scottsdale.

I love those ruffles around the church's dome.

This is beautiful and the setting seems perfect for the building.

I hve driven by this church several times and admired it.

It certainly is a complex building Sharon, so many different shapes but it all seems to work together to make a really attractive structure. Beautifully shown here.

A very attractive building which you have captured in all its photographic splendor. I wonder what the small dome in front is all about. I've not seen that before.

That first shot is very well composed with the flowers and palm trees!

Very attractive church and the way you framed it with the oleanders is quite lovely.

In Phoenix, this church looks pristine, like a woman with every hair combed into place and all of the make-up perfectly applied. In most other places, a church like this would look windblown. What is it about Phoenix that makes everything clean and new and perfect looking?

Definitely Greek! This could have been taken anywhere in Greece.

I love the structural design of many Greek Orthodox churches, and this is a fine one!
