White Peacock

This "white peacock" butterfly appears to be floating over these flowers but, I'm pretty sure it was sitting perfectly still when I took the photo.

The composition as well as the image is wonderful, Sharon. I love the "V" formation of the butterfly and flowers.

This is a remarkable composition, with the butterfly in a dark gap surrounded by the leaves.

This is exquisite! You photographic skills are really in evidence here. That is not an easy shot and you got it right, including the exposure! Perfection and beautiful!

When I saw "white peacock" in your caption, I was expecting something different. Five years ago we took a trip to the Italian Lakes, and there is an island in Lake Maggiore with a fancy garden featuring a group (herd? throng?) of white peacocks.

Oh Sharon this is such a beautiful butterfly...grace amongst the desert flowers... you have blessed me with your photos. Have a peaceful week in your heavenly state. We have snow today...wet, heavy, snowfall...great for snowmen but Sunday is Easter. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart
