T-Shirt Time

I went to a Phoenix Sun's game again last night with my friend Janet but we lost, rather badly so I concentrated my photography on other subjects.  I wonder if all the pro-teams do this crazy free T-shirt thing at their games.  Here you see the team mascot "The Gorilla" loading up his giant T-shirt shooting gun with the help of one of the Sun's Dancers.

And, here he is firing it off into the arena.  I always have to laugh at how crazy the crowd gets trying to catch a $2.00 T-shirt.

Always a good diversion, if the team are playing badly, to have fun things going on!

I bet that could get a bit dangerous.

I always hope to win a tee but we usually are too far back. Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

It always feels like you are a winner if you manage to catch such a give-away!

The lady in your second photo looks pretty bored.

I used to take my kids to the Hartford Whalers games (before they moved to Carolina) and we all worked like mad to catch those tee shirts. It was fun.

This is something I haven't seen but then I haven't been to a basketball game in many years. But, from what I remember, you could hand out a rock with team logo on it, and people would kill each other to get their hands on it. :(

Sorry your team didn't win Sharon, but it looks like you had fun anyway, it would be excellent to catch a tee shirt.
