Soaring above it all

I looked up and saw an almost perfect set of vapor trails cutting through the blue sky.  I took a chance and pointed my telephoto lens skyward to see what I would capture.  I was surprised at what I saw.   From where I was standing, I saw only two perfectly even vapor trails.  Now I can see there are actually four of them.  The plane itself looked like a spec of silver, in the photo it looks like it's made of glass.

Amazing photo. My guess is that you took this photo with your new camera with a 42 times zoom lens. I can get photos with that camera and see things in the photo that I cannot see with my eyes.

I'm glad you posted this one here. Like I said when I saw it on your flickr site, it looks like a ghost plane!

Very nice image, Sharon, very well composed. Is this a new model of a stealth airplane? ;-)

This is a really cool shot. I wonder where all those people aboard are flying to.

I love this shot Sharon, it's so good when you take one of these impromptu shots and it works out so well, love the white vapour trails across the corner of the big blue sky, well done.
