Paintings right out of the camera

My new camera has an "Effects" setting and one of the effects is called "painting".  If you use that setting the photo processes right in the camera.  I took the top photo using this setting last Monday when I was at the Desert Botanical Garden.  You'll recognize the Chihully sculptures that I've featured so many times before.  The effect has a kind of white, chalky look to me.

Oh my, you will have some fun with this setting Sharon, I must check all my camera's functions, there's so much I still haven't tried. Thanks for the inspiration.

Love this! It is so much fun to play with photos, in or out of the camera!

Pretty cool effect for in camera. It almost looks like a cross between a HDR and a bleach bypass. Very interesting.
Have a great weekend

This is fun. But it does look like any painting that I am capable of producing.

It looks like one of those old post cards from the 50's.

The effects are pretty cool but I like Chihully and this Desert Garden so much that I think I prefer the real thing. Great job anyway.
