Chandelier

Last Friday I went to a wine tasting at a private residence and enjoyed some delicious wine, great food, and even better conversation.  But, I think what impressed me the most was this stunning modern chandelier that was hanging over the dining room table.  It was gorgeous but being a very practical person, all I could think of was how difficult it would be to keep that clean.  I'm certain I wouldn't have the patience to keep the desert dust off of all those crystals while keeping those threads all straight and even.

It looks like a piece of art! I've never seen one like it.

I agree. It's way to fussy and ornate for me. Of course, I think that a string and a bulb is just fine! :-)

I think you hire someone to clean it!

Yes, it is stunning, and your thoughts are very similar.

Hmm, Sharon, here I think our tastes depart. Then again, my tastes are relatively traditional.

So nice!
I think the best way would be to spray them and dry them with a hair blower, at slow speed of course! :-) I used to do that once upon the time...

I remember the classic crystal chandeliers at my parents house and how worried my mother was everytime the cleaning woman was doing her job! :-)))
