More Traditional

Just one block away from the colorful condos I posted yesterday is this much more traditional house.  I like this one a lot.

Me too! In fact, I think I know this house. It may have had a new paint job since I last saw it.

Also colourful and really nice.

Forget the 'boxed living'; I'll take this beauty.

beautiful house, love that porch

In the days before air conditioning, people probably slept on the porch.

I like this one too! The palm tree looks like it was recently trimmed.

This is traditional midwestern. Reminds me of my grandparent's house in a small town in Kansas. Love that porch...that's probably more Arizonian! It's a gorgeous home!

Love the wrap-around porch.

There should be a rattan rocking chair on that big dark porch.

I love this house with its large porch.

I like the green house and the green lawn together.

OK, if I ever move to Phoenix, this is the one I want. I love natural shingles and I love big porches.

Tiny Dancer was in my aging mind but I didn't pull it out right. Thx for the reminder. I changed the caption!

This is definitely to my liking. This looks like a lovely house to raise a family in and then spend your twilight years in.

That might be a Sears Catalogue house.

This has kind of a "Craftsman" bungalow" look to it... we have many similar to this style around the Milwaukee area built in the early part of the 20th century. I like the cedar shake siding on the upper part around the windows, and the midwestern grass lawn!

Yes me too Sharon, it reminds me of the houses back in Africa, with a verandah all around to deep the house cool. Gorgeous house.
