Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Is this one of those toads that appear after a monsoon rain? Great shot, by the way.
I love the light on his scales.
bela foto com uma luz muito interessante
He IS pretty well camouflaged Sharon, but even he can't escape the eagle eye of the blogger on the prowl haha! Excellent capture.
If he wasn't glowing he might not show up so well. Sometimes I only see them when they move.
It's some kind of lizard, right? Almost looks like a small iguana. Great light!
Love the focus in this shot! I like the light shining off his scales? skin? whatever we should call it.
Great capture of the little guy!
You have a good eye. I probable would have missed him.
I think he might be aware, he could be of in a flash. These creatures amaze me they way they can be so still one moment then off in a flash seconds later. Great photo, the lighting is in just the right spot.
I'm amazed at the scales on that little fellow.
I can and he's a little creepy...
But he was wrong of course...
Those Botanical Garden walks of yours turn up some nice surprises.
Fantastic shot! The scales covering his body are amazing.
Nice little guy.
