Bodacious

While on my walk on Main Street in Scottsdale I ran into "Bodacious" a sculpture of white oak and steel by artist Jamie Burnes.  He does look bodacious, doesn't he?

Very well done. Really cool.

Bodacious was a bucking bull that was said to be almost never ridden, and so mean that he was retired early. I have seen videos of him in action and it was quite something to see. Perhaps this is a tribute to him.
I like this kind of sculpture.

He's coming apart at the seams and still manages to have a sort of smile on his face! This is a great sculpture, sure to evince smiles and good feelings. I think it's partly because of the way the hoof goes up and back on his right leg.

I have missed him. I see the sidewalk marking for the Art Walk in the background. We need to go on the Art Walk when they start up again after the summer.

"Does this sheet metal make my hips look big?" No, he's a guy. He would never even worry about such a thing. :)
