Watching

This spiny lizard was watching me as I made my way along the path.

I turned around so I could get a profile view!

Terrific photos, again! Don't you wonder what's going through their little brain, other than "Watch out! She looks harmless enough, but one never knows about humans!"

If I were a lizard and saw you coming down the path, I would keep an eye on you.

Being aware of what is happening around is such a plus!

Lizard patterns and textures; rock patterns and textures. Mix and match.

I wonder what this little guy and my Horned lizard that I posted a few days ago would think of each other if they met. Mine was looking at me the same way.

It looks like he had a little trouble with his tail. Love that first shot.

He wanted you to take a photo of his "best side".

I'm surprised he stuck around long enough for you to get the profile shot.

A real poser.

Wonderful shot of this guy. In NM we mostly caught the long skinny blue or green lizards. Perhaps I should say my brothers caught them while I watched.

He's a little cutie, even if he does have a rather grumpy look on his face. Well caught here Sharon.
