Hillside Condos

I found this street of condominiums located in north Phoenix where the mountains start to appear.

The street doesn't look quite as steep in the top photo as it looked in person.

Your second photo definitely shows the degree of incline. Wouldn't want to do any power walking in that neighborhood.

This is not the typical Southwestern architecture. The balconies on these houses probably take advantage of the elevation gain by offering views of the city.

This doesn't look like Phoenix. And I agree with Dave, even the houses are not typical. Nice find!

Steep enough Sharon, it's certainly a very well kept street.

It certainly looks steep in the second image. Did you walk it?

This is very unusual for around here. Looks like San Francisco!

I wouldn't have thought Phoenix!

Yeah, it's the 2nd shot where one gets a feel for the incline! I'll bet there are a few rattlers and lizards (gila monsters?)in and around those condos.

But those hills are good for a walk, what goes up gets to come down.

How many times have we all tried to show steep hillsides in photos? There are limits to photography.

I hate when they destroy the natural landscape.
