Family Outing


The whole family was out for a stroll as Mama watched the young ones cross the road...

...and taught them how to climb over the rocks on the other side.

Great capture of the babies. They do not stay still, so you did well to get your close photos.

We have to be careful driving around our neighborhood, as the quail have a habit of scurrying across the road in front of cars.

I love to see quail and the chicks make this a rare shot. The quail here are very camera shy. Nice capture!

They sort of climbed over each other, too, as they climbed over the rocks. Very nice photos...Is that bird some kind of partridge or a pigeon with a hood?
