Chomp...chomp

This palm tree farm in south west Phoenix has employed a heard of goats to keep the grass between the trees trimmed neatly.

Happy weekend, Sharon.

Sure beats mowing on a hot summer day!

For a minute there I thought you were in CR with Dave and Julie...so much green and a grazing animal.

Such a fantastic idea Sharon, might have to think of that one for my lawn haha!

Now that is a way to beat the summer heat and minimize your chores!

I wonder where I could rent a herd of goats.

Looks like he has a buffet of grass.

Much nicer than a lawn mower

Smart farm! Our daughter has a herd of goats also, some of them look exactly like this one and while they got the goats to get a break on taxes the animals do a good job of cutting the grass.

Very 'green' of them!

It's true that only goats can do that and only billy goats can eat bramble branches... :-)

A very ecology-minded solution to the problem.
