Ancient Civilization

Four weeks ago, my friend and I took a taxi from our hotel to the Coliseum.  As the cab rolled down the street, more and more ancient ruins began to appear until this massive structure loomed in front of us.  I was glued to the window, taking it all in.  It truly is a magnificent sight.

There's a big controversy regarding its restoration ($33 million), glad you saw it as it is now. Great perspective, Sharon.

This is superb! I've seen lots of Colosseum photos and I've even taken a few, but I've not seen this angle before. Very well done!

This has been taken quite well. It is a site to see, I can't imagine a renovation. I like the ruins.
