Pictures from Phoenix and sometimes from the surrounding cities that make up the "Valley of the Sun"
Like the angle, Sharon. Cacti blossoms are so varied and beautiful when in full bloom.
This is a spectacular closeup shot.
As I was driving through our neighborhood the other day seeing all of the saguaros blooming, with flowers too high up to photograph closely, I thought that the Desert Botanical Garden should put up a platform next to a saguaro so people could take close up photos of the flowers. You have done the next best thing.
WOW! Just fantastic, Sharon!
And a lovely one it is too.
Very pretty! I love to see them blooming! I like the new look of your blog and the larger pictures.
I love your new template! I just knew this was going to be a saguaro...because that's exactly what I thought when I looked at the one in my yard yesterday. It's wearing crowns. :)
Wow - super!
Such an unusual looking plant Sharon, well to me here is Australia it is! Love the angle you've taken with this, imagine when all the white flowers open!
I really really love this one!
Wow! That's a superb shot!
Superb photo! Fantastic light. Great composition. Colorful. And the "crown" is most interesting!
There's nothing more beautiful or more unexpected than a cactus in bloom.
Magnificent! I bow before it.
What a crown it is, bet it is gorgeous in full bloom!
Such a treat!
Love this photo! Wow!
You live in such beautiful part of the world.
