Arizona Road Trip: Sonoita

When you enter the town of Sonoita in the southernmost region of Arizona, you are greeted by this wonderful rusty cowboy and calf.  Sonoita and the surrounding towns are home to several wineries.  The area is certainly not as well known or visited as California’s Napa and Sonoma Valleys but, it can be just as picturesque and you can find some good wines too.

It looks like a lonely barren place. This is an interesting and different kind of image for the wine country.

I like this picture---you couldn't have captured a better
cowboy scene, simple, yet perfect!

I will be on the lookout for these guys next time we head down that way. Wineries, huh? I'm sure I can coax Tracy with that bit of knowledge. :)

This road trip is a long one. When do you get home? Will we see a sample from abroad?
