European Style

I found this house last week in a neighborhood on the east side of Phoenix.  If I had just seen a photo of it, I would have thought it was home in Italy or France not in Phoenix.  It really appeals to me.

The design does indeed look Italian, but the blue shutters for some reason make it look French. Thus, it was perhaps inspired by Provence.

I love Spanish tile roofs.

I agree with you...not the kind of building one would normally find in the States. It's is truly lovely. I'm assuming it's a single-family dwelling.

Hope you're having a great day!

Wonder if the interior reflects the same love of European style. I love seeing places with mature landscaping.

I agree ... It reminds me of the style of home in parts of Tuscany only there's we're painted in shades if ochre and deep gold.

I agree Sharon, the blue shutters and long low red roof certainly give that feel.
