Lunch Time Challenge #5

For lunch on Friday, I took a walk among the tall buildings located at 24th Street and Camelback Road.  I found hidden gardens that you never see from the street and green courtyards between the buildings.  This building even has greenery on the roof top.

I got the added bonus of peeking inside the elegant lobby for this building.

So, this is the last in my lunch time series but, I enjoyed it so much, I'm sure I'll be taking more lunch time photos along the way.

Sharon, we have missed some wonderful posts by you during our 3 weeks away in Bhutan, Bangkok and Cambodia. You have been busy at lunch. Congratulations on the achievements of you and others to get the Tovrea Castle open.

Sorry we missed going to Wicked with you while we were gone. We look forward to catching up with you soon.

What a great series Sharon, right from day 1 with the amazing horse sculpture. It just shows what you can find when you set out and actually 'look' at things you pass by daily.

Lots of green on your post today to celebrate St. Paddy's Day!

Very interesting colors...not too often do you see red and green on a building like this. Pretty, though. And pre-loaded for Christmas! :-)

The greenery on top reminds me of some buildings in Paris.

Sharon, this has been a interesting series and a wonderful way to see Phoenix from your eyes.

I like everything about that top photo! The composition is perfect and the trees on top of the building are awesome. I don't recognize the building but I like the colors.

I really like seeing the greenery on top of the building. And hidden gardens are always a pleasant surprise.

Having a "hook" to get you outside at lunchtime was a great idea. It probably helped both your photography and your state of mind. Your upward perspective today is nice.

What a wonderful garden. Be nice if every building had a rooftop garden

That's why I love walking more and more. The things you miss when you just drive!...
