Under Attack

I expected lots of traffic and huge crowds when I went shopping on Saturday but, I didn't expect to be under attack by storm troopers and aliens.  It turns out that as long as I dropped a dollar in the Salvation Army red kettle, I was safe.

If you peek at the reflection in the glass behind this trio, you will see the Biltmore Fashion Park's annual Poinsettia Christmas tree.

The last few weeks I shop at dinner time... crowds are down. In and out! Fast, and no storm troopers.

This is a unique approach to charitable solicitation. Whatever works.

Wow! That's pretty unexpected and fun to run into Star Wars characters!

I think that is a great idea! I hope we get to see a picture of that tree!

Haha I wonder if that idea will catch on Sharon, it's such a good cause. Now that's what I call a 'proper' Christmas tree, red and green, nice!!

How fun. I love that tree. I shot my only paid photo job there for a family.

Strange-looking critters! I'm glad you got away safely even though you were forced to acquiesce to extortion via the S.A.

Storm troopers and aliens are out? Good thing I got my shopping done on Friday. I'm hoping we will see more of that poinsettia tree.
