Grey Skies

Here is another shot from the Tempe Festival of the Arts last Saturday.  This one is looking over the tops of some of the artist's tents toward the new W6 Residential Towers.  You can see what a menacing sky we had and it lasted all day with spots of rain and hail here and there.  I even heard a loud thunder clap later in the evening.

Brooding & moody, great sky.

This has been exceptionally cold weather for Phoenix. Julie and I covered up some of our plants last evening for frost protection.

such cold dreary weather we have had. hopefully the sun comes back out today for the rest of December. the rain has been good for plants though

It is surprising to read about bad weather in Phoenix. Shooting this in monochrome was a good idea.

Grey is the right word for this one. Very unusual for Phoenix.

Frightening clouds. It's amazing you weren't inundated! Excellent shot!

Love the little touches of colour from the ceramics in this otherwise monochrome image Sharon, beautifully composed.
