Speaking of Bugs

In contrast to yesterday's giant ants, this colorful grasshopper was also lurking about at the Desert Botanical Garden.  His size isn't as intimidating as the giant variety.  However, if he had jumped on me, I'm sure I would have jumped myself.

Me too Sharon, not because he's scary, just because he's a bug haha! He does look very pretty chomping on that red plant. Have a great weekend.

Thats a big grasshopper - I like the red against the green.

If they had giant grasshoppers in the same scale as yesterday's giant ants, that would be even scarier.

Beautiful color on this with the red and green.

Ha...and maybe screamed a little? They spit, you know. Happy Friday!

Terrific colors in this shot. These critters do jump on you once in awhile and it is an unsettling experience even though they don't hurt you!

Have a great weekend!

Nice red plant and the focus is so good that I can see his funny little feet.

Wonderful red plant indeed. That grasshopper looks so green next to the red.
