Black Cat

I've been looking for something to help give me that "fall" feeling and not having much luck.  With temperatures in the high 90's (37C), I'm having a hard time believing it's almost Halloween.  Perfect for the season is this black cat who was heading my way when I stopped to check the sunset for possible photo options.  The sunset didn't develop but this cat was perfect to put me in the mood for Halloween.

This cat on the prowl reminds me of the sad, sad story of those wild animals in Ohio. Julie can't get over the tragedy of some of the animals being killed.

I saw your post yesterday saying that you went to the ArtFest i downtown Scottsdale on Sunday after seeing Julie's post about it. You should let us know when you are so close and get together.

I grew up with a black cat. That was the most mystical animal I have known.

So true...it just doesn't feel like Fall weather yet. I think the only comfortable costume for Halloween will be to dress up like college kids on Spring Break. :)

I trust you did not cross its path. Or is it the other way around? Funny, I saw a black cat this morning at home. Not the usual color that roam our street.

Don't let my dog see that cat... Our temps hit mid 80's this week, but a cold front is on the way.

I agree, hard to get in the mood when you're still wearing shorts!

When I saw the thumbnail, my first thought was coyote! You do have coyotes there, right. I can't remember. But a black cat is certainly better for Halloween!
