Cooking Class

My favorite Thai Restaurant "Wild Thaiger" had a cooking class on Sunday afternoon that I attended.  Above we see chef Olashawn Hasadinrata in the kitchen with some of the students, preparing the woks for cooking.  We learned to prepare three dishes, Grapao Gai, Lahb Nua, and Kimow.  So, now I'm ready to do a tasty Thai dinner at my house.

Here is my favorite photo of chef Ola that was taken by my friend David with his cell phone.  Don't you just love her enthusiastic smile?

I think that I just lost my comment.

A Thai dinner sounds divine. The photos of the two chefs illustrate the serious and joyful sides of the wonderful Thai people. Since I frequent Thai restaurants quite a bit, I'd be happy to test your newly found culinary skills. When's dinner scheduled?!

i do love that expression. what a great day. will you have trouble finding the ingredients in your local grocery store?

I wonder what was happening in the kitchen that was causing her to be so amused. Could it have been the attempt of someone to do Thai cooking? And, no, Sharon, I don't mean you. I know how skilled you are in the kitchen.

Thai food is definitely my favourite. I will never forget it after having visited the country. I go quite often to Thai restaurants here but, although the food is excellent, it's not the same feeling.
