Quiet Corner

This little shaded and peaceful spot is tucked away within the grounds of the Royal Palms Resort.

I imagine that it is a small oasis for shade, away from the heat. Will this current heat wave throught the Midwest, East, and Southwest ever end?!

You are showing photos of the Royal Palms at the same time that Julie is showing a series on the Arizona Inn in Tucson. There are some similarities to the ambiance of the two places.

Nice spot although I imagine it's still pretty warm to sit in the shade. I want to go to a resort except I want it to be right next to the ocean!

Another pretty spot with shade and a fountain. It must have been fun to wander around there.

This is just perfect but I suspect I would still need a small A/C!

it looks cool although I am sure it isn't!

A bit of shade is priceless in the summer in Arizona! Beautiful spot.

Re your question on The Villages: This is a small neighborhood pool and is open only to people living in that area. There are numerous neighborhood pools in The Villages and many of them are empty much of the time. Too many old people, I think. They're busy drinking and dancing in the town square! :-)

Another good reason to stay here when in Phoenix. It looks cool and refreshing, but I have looked at the weather maps and know how hot it is.

And the temperature was what in the shade? I love the color of the wall.

What a lovely spot to sit awhile, sip something cool and read a nice book.
