The Spotter

This squirrel was acting as lookout atop a pile of rocks at Papago Park.  It made me wonder what mischief his friends might have been getting into.

Is there any place on earth that doesn't have squirrels? Perhaps I'd move there.

Being a squirrel means being into some mischief. That's what they do.

I'm not too sure, but I think being the lookout can be kinda dangerous for squirrels and such. He looks like mighty easy pickings standing nice and tall like that. :)

Oh, I love that! It's rare to see a squirrel around here.

These critters are such fun to watch...I like it when they play in the trees and jump from limb to limb or tree to tree. Nice that he posed for you!

Thank you, Sharon, for your kind words about Haley ... we appreciate them very much! She was an amazing dog and nothing is the same without her.

I thought she was a prairie dog at first with that pose! Love it.

Oh that is too cute Sharon, it's a bit like the way the meerkats always have a sentry.
