Lemon Beebalm

I love this flower called Lemon Beebalm. It’s such a cheerful flower.  I also love the way the background in this photo appears to be in motion.  I have no idea how I did that.

This looks like a photo where you move the camera at the same speed to capture a moving object, like a runner or a train, to keep it in focus and blur the background, but obviously that did not occur with a flower.

It has to do with F stops (or so I've learned in photography class!). It's gorgeous. I think you should frame this one.

I saw the picture and I was asking myself, "how did she do that background?" But you don't know! :( Great shot anyway!

The name is joyful also. Reminds me of my lilacs, which I chose because of their very deep purple blossoms.

This is supposed to be a favorite of hummingbirds. It's purple! :)
