House on a Hill

This house is in a north Phoenix neighborhood and sits on a small hill overlooking the rest of the houses.

I wouldn't want to cut the grass. But, I am sure that the people who live here do not cut their own grass.

The first thing that pops into my mind is how much water it takes to keep all that grass green. Unless they use reclaimed water, this use of water in the arid desert is wasteful.
It is a beautiful place but would be just as pretty with a more Eco friendly landscape.

I couldn't help but think of the irrigation issues for this place! Not very 'green'.

It's a lovely home. I wish having grass wasn't an issue...I understand, but I don't like.

OMG, that house has more grass than my entire block!

I was attracted by the green of the grass, then read Judy's comment(. Great composition anyway.
