5090

This dramatic looking entrance belongs to an office building with no name.  So I just call it the 5090 building because that is its street number.  I checked the tenant list and it houses mostly medical offices and investment companies.  It certainly is a nice looking office building.

I guess all the good names were taken!

I like the clouds in the glass.

Investment companies in the same building as doctors' offices. Makes sense. The doctors won't have to go far to check with their investment advisors.

When a new medical complex opened near our house, Julie asked me to check the directory to see if maybe we had an interest in finding a doctor closer to home. I checked and then reported that most of the doctors in the complex are cosmetic surgeons. We have not been back.

What a dramatic angle you got with this shot. It's wonderful. I know it's my weird imagination, but I can see some squatting, alien, buglike, life form poised to take over downtown Phoenix.

I like the composition of this photo. It captures the reflections as well as the unique shapes. Is that a sculpture down at the end?

An exercise in the development of modern architecture. I like the pillars, the glass and the canopy. And it is nice for the MDs...they can take your money and walk across the hall and invest it.

Yes, I see the alien/insect-like creature, too. Perhaps the name should be the Astro-Insecta Building of Pheonix!

Looks like it would be a grand building for apts, too!

After a full day without access to my blog and wasting lots of time trying to solve the problem, I was about ready to give up when, lo and behold, I'm back on google's blogspot. Lost all my followers, too. I'm pretty tired of it this past month though and may explore other blog options. Any ideas?

This is quite a place, Sharon. Shooting it straight ahead and symmetrically was a good call.

Great symmetry shot!
