Coming in for a landing

There are a few flowering pear trees still blooming around town.  When I took this shot, I had no idea there was a bee approaching the cluster of flowers.

I think you should take credit for that well planned shot of the arrival of the bee.

I think that your photo illustrates what might be an ancient Chinese proverb: "Better to be unaware of a bee landing on a flower than to become aware of a bee that has landed on you."

The bee is perfect here! Makes the shot look even more beautiful.

Serendipity works every time. I love the light in this shot...makes the petals look as though they were molded of silver. Just beautiful. The bee is an added bonus!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

You know, the other day I saw pear blossoms for the first time on Ramblin' Kathy's blog. I didn't even know we had them here. Nice catch of the bee!

I love life's little surprises! It is a beautiful photo all the way around.

I know you understand the difficulties of keeping things dry while trying to shower with an injury. I hope your hand is better now. While I was in the emergency room with my broken foot, my son was in another emergency room getting seven stitches in his finger. Really we're not a family of klutzes. Honest! :)

Nice shot Sharon. Aren't those little surprises wonderful - seeing something in a photo you didn't expect.
