Interesting Inhabitants of Planet Orange

My good friend Janet took me with her to another Phoenix Suns game Friday night.  Planet Orange is what Sun's fans think of as Sun's territory.  This name is based on the team's colors of orange and purple.  So for this post I'm showing you some of the people who inhabit Planet Orange.  This pair is decked out in orange and purple including body paint.

This fellow has orange jump suit and purple briefs, hat and shoes.

The fellow on the bottom was quite conservative with only his Planet Orange cap to show is team spirit!

I enjoyed spotting all these colorful fans.  The game was a little less entertaining because the New York Nicks beat us by quite a wide margin.

Go Suns!  Time to get out of that slump.

These people are over the top in their enthusiasm and preparation for going to a basketball game.

I do own an orange shirt and I have worn it to Suns games. Never any body paint.

I have to wonder how hard it is to get that body paint off...does he kinda have a glow about him for the next few days?

Gotta love the guy in the middle photo. Wonder where he got that body suit and purple sneakers. Did you notice any females in the team's colours?

It's a lonely, lonely planet right now.

I wonder where you would find a whole body jump suit like that. It even has fingers in it. Maybe it has toes too! He sure looks like he is happy to pose for your camera!

Looks like the fans are having fun regardless of the outcome of the game.

Great funny shots. May I rent the boys for a week to add color to our one-color-grey city?

I like the idea of wearing team colors, but for me a sweater and cap is enough.

I don't know what to say. Some people are nuts, maybe?

Seriously, I know this is all in fun, but why? My enthusiasm for "home teams" evaporated a long time ago when I realized just about any player would desert the home team if another team offered him a bit more money!

The home team cared only about the home of the team if it was profitable enough!

Here endeth the sermon.

But I must say your "nuts" are colorful!

Have a great day!
