Holiday Palm Trees

One more holiday decorations shot.  This one was taken in downtown Phoenix in front of the new Sheraton Hotel.  All of the palm trees along the street have been decked out in hundreds of tiny lights.

It's been so long since I've been somewhere where the holidays are NOT snow days that I think I'm ready for one now! Your photo is tempting me to fly away to someplace a bit warmer than Minnesota.

Love how the trunks are "wrapped" in lights.

City's in different climates decorate so differently in some ways. Cool shot.

Nice. Palms look terrific with their trunks wrapped in white lights for the holidays.

Great night shot, Sharon. I will miss the lights of the holiday season. Not so much that I want my neighbor to leave his up though. :)

It must have made a wonderful atmosphere for a walk.

Very nice. They should leave them up all year.

See, you don't need snow to have a festive Christmas! Although I heard you got a little snow the other day; is that true?

This is a lovely scene, Sharon and it will be Christmas for 4 more days!

Like the shot. Never considered how to decorate a palm tree before!

And now it's over. My six year old is still singing Christmas carols! Nice night shot.

We used to have them like this too, but not this year... cuts in Christmas lights were made everywhere here.
