Right behind the brand new Musical Instrument Museum is a brand new housing development called Sagewood. This is located way, way north in Phoenix. It appears to be a combination of single family homes, two-story condominiums, and apartment-like condominiums all with similar architecture.
I like the style of these using rock and stucco together.

I like squares and it is a lot of them here. Nice apartments.
I agree with Dave, but maybe these folks know something we don't. I've read that the Phoenix housing market is pretty depressed. This development looks very nice, though, and I agree about the stucco and rock (that's done a lot here - usually with our native limestone rock)...
And I like the mixed-use idea.

Re your comment on Ocala: It seems some folks think they need to do something about Halloween even if they don't want to and they end up doing so little it would be better if they hadn't done anything at all.
Does that make any sense?
Both stucco and adobe remind me of the Southwest. And, yup, it's a tough real estate market right now!
