Drama in the sky

Saturday night I saw the most amazing sky.  Storm clouds moving in from the east and the sun setting in the west created a sky the just glowed.  Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to get to a good location and I only had one camera with me, so these were the best shots I could get.

The top is looking southeast and the small photo is looking west.

Well, you did very well! That first one is so dramatic...almost like the sky is reflecting the earth on fire!

I think this qualifies for WOW! The sky is ablaze!

This must have been just before the windstorm that we felt last Saturday night, for about two minutes, in Scottsdale.

Sharon - I, too, took and posted some pictures of the orange and pink clouds . . up here in the high country.
