This is extraordinary. It really deserves to be enlarged to be appreciated more fully.

Dave is right. I'd recommend enlarging it twice to see detail on the wings.

Dragonflies have certainly found their popularity through photo bloggers recently. A great shot, no doubt through your new lens. It looks like you're having a lot of fun with it.

Nice dragonfly, very big eyes. I have yet to catch one unawares, they always fly off just before I get close enough!
