Over the Wall

A peek over the wall a the Camelback and Central light rial station looking at the Landmark Towers. The tower is now a condominium building, but just a few years ago it was a luxury apartment tower. When I first moved to Phoenix, there were a few well known movie people who had apartments in this building.

You have a light rail system? That's really great! We need some of those in Florida!

I used to go downtown regularly for Suns or Diamondbacks games but haven't been there in years. I had dreams of them expanding the rail system west, but that's not likely now with all the budget woes. Have a great weekend, Sharon!

I think the revolution of a building can be very fascinating. I wonder why it changed?

There have been newspaper articles about the condo conversion of this building. They did not change out the air conditioning system and it is enormously expensive and needs to be done.

This is one of those buildings that everyone recognizes, it's been there so long.

Do you enjoy riding the light rail?

I'm hearing it's not as well used as they thought it would be.

As always, your view of Phoenix is fascinating.

Sharon,
I know it recently received bad press, but have you eaten at The Blue Water Grill? It's close to a light rail stop. My son, David, works there. Stop by and ask for him and he'll see you're treated right. :)
