New Mosque

It's a new mosque under construction in north Phoenix. As you can see from the construction materials in the foreground, it's not quite ready to open.

Your photo close-up yesterday was more appealing to me because it showed the lines and shapes. Today's snap reminds me of how diverse our culture has become.

I thought that's what it looked like. You have a large Muslim population in Phoenix?

That's a beautiful building. I need to get out and around town more!

I didn't know they are building a new mosque in Phoenix. Where is it?

I hope that they take down the overhead wiring when they are finished, as it would look better without the telehone poles.

Thanks for visiting.
The mosque is very beautiful and a great photo, with good perspectives, composition, colors. In Barcelona, Spain, there are many Muslims of African origin, but not build mosques, are migrants, many illegal, crossing the sea, risking their lives to reach Europe.

Julie & Dave, the new mosque is located a few blocks south of Northern Ave, just west of the I-17. You can see it from the freeway.

Will they dispense bomb belts when it opens?

I thought it lacked windows until I saw the whole thing - very interesting. Some lovely photos on this blog.
