A Touch of Color

I found these condominiums in northern Phoenix and noticed the touch of color that was added to a somewhat plain exterior. In fact, without that color, these would be very plain indeed.

Each unit appears to have access to a roof-top patio with spiral stairs leading the way.

The slight differences in the color of these otherwise identical townhouses remind me of the houses Bath, England. Many of them in a row are identical, except they have a different pattern to the window panes in the transom above the front door. It was explained to us that the reason for the difference is so that people who are coming home late at night after drinking too much will be able to identify which house is theirs.

Interesting color on the grey building. Maybe Dave's explanation is the idea here too.

The color really does transform these places. I'd love to see the interior space.

You're right about it being plain without the colors. A great solution.
