Central Towers again

The mostly glass office building that is located across the street from Central Towers has a courtyard with a very interesting water feature. There are little pools of water with the sculpted glass block walls that you see in the foreground of this photo. I bet there is some type of fountain effect working here, but I must admit I'm just guessing. I've never seen it working.

Fountains and other water features can be a high maintenance item, but they are worth it to keep them operating, as long as they do not waste too much water in the desert.

It looks very interesting. I hope you get to see it flowing one of these days.

Wonderful composition, Sharon!

It looks like it would be a wonderful fountain to see working. I have always liked those glass blocks. With all the minerals in our water here in Arizona, I wonder how they would ever get the deposits off of the glass.

Very interesting...at least it is pretty to look at even if the water isn't flowing.
