Beep Beep

I apologize for the quality of this photo. It was taken through a window and at a distance and then cropped down to focus on the bird. This is a Roadrunner, a bird that is part of the cuckoo family and is native to the desert southwest. The roadrunner can fly, but it spends most of its time on the ground and run up to speeds of 20 miles per hour.

Beep Beep! How cool! Is the poor coyote under a big stone or has he fallen into a canyon? :-)
