Chihuly….revisited

Last weekend I took my niece to the Desert Botanical Gardens to see the Chihuly exhibit and guess what…I found an installation that I hadn’t seen before. I love the blues and purples in this one.

I really love this exhibit (as I’m sure you’ve guessed) but, the spectacular addition of spring wildflowers and blooming plants and cactus made the event even more stunning. I’ll share some wildflower photos over the next few weeks.

very nice capture of purple and it is apparently purple epilepsy day so your photo matches perfectly with awareness for this disease.

I missed this Chihuly, so I appreciate your photo.

I did not know that today was purple epilepsy day. I hope that we find a cure and that people are more understanding of the ability to accommodate people with this disease. The Americans with Disabilities Act has certainly helped.

I'm loving all the Chihuly's that are appearing on the CDP blogs! I wonder where the next exhibition will be?

Is this more glass artwork?

Hi Mo, this is from the same Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. It will be there into May. I went again last week and saw this piece for the first time.
