Yes you did! Congratulations.

A great victory speech - offering hope and inspiration. A gracious concession too.

Lovely sentiment. ANd may I add, "yes we WILL" to rally everyone to create an era of real change and progress. Now it's time to make sure our new administration puts actions to words. Onward for a better future!

It’s nearly 24 hours after Obama won and I still fell as excited as a youngster on Christmas morning. You are a very lucky person that you have met him and shook his hand. You have now been a small part of history. Frankly, I think his election might be one of the most important elections of all time. Abe Lincoln from Brookville Daily Photo is so right that we have on heck of a mess on our hands. If the election had gone to McCain I think things would have continued down a never ending road to total world failure. I at least now have hope that with Obama we Americans might at last wake up and see what we have done to our plant and maybe we will start fixing it.

Take care,

It's so nice to know that as a country, we have a lot of work to do, and there's optimism to get it done!

You have to love all the optimism and joy that we have seen since the election. As one that was on the fence, I'm praying that one day we can say that President Obama was one of the best to ever live in the White House.

It's pretty cool that you have a picture of him and you. I have a similar picture of me and John F. Kennedy. Of course, I bought it in Tempe at the mall. ;P
